The front end is also susceptible to aerodynamic turbulence so it's critical to optimize the airflow here. Close to the rim, the blade of the Funda fork is an asymmetric airfoil to smooth airflow. Nearer the hub, where the wheel affects the airflow less, the blade becomes symmetrical.
