What are the Browser Requirements to view this site?
The Bike Parts Express web site is designed for use with the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. If you currently use older versions of either of these browsers, you may experience technical difficulties with online ordering. To purchase products online at Bike Parts Express, you must use a browser that is SSL-compliant and has a “secure mode”. To make sure your browser is secure, just look for a “VeriSign” logo in the footer at the bottom of any page. You must also have JavaScript enabled in your browser’s preferences. We recommend downloading Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to fully experience our site.

Is my information secure when it is sent through the web site?

We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving your personal information. On the Internet, when you see an image of the “VeriSign” logo in the footer at the bottom of any page, this indicates that the site is secured through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Pages requesting personal information should always have one of this logo. To verify that your connection is secure, you may click on the VeriSign logo anytime during the Checkout process. If you do not see the VeriSign logo, please contact us to complete your transaction over the phone by calling (800)245-3206.

Why do I keep getting an Empty Cart message?

If you have placed items in your shopping cart, but are receiving a message stating that your cart is empty, it may be because your browser is not set to accept cookies. To fix this, just check your browser setting and enable your cookies. For Internet Explorer this should be in the Tools Menu, under Internet Options.For Firefox this should be in the Tools Menu, under Options.

Why do I need cookies?

Our site is designed to use cookies to keep track of the items you order during your shopping session. When you’re ready to check out, all of the items are saved in your shopping cart by using cookies. If you don’t enable cookies in your browser, our site won’t remember what you’ve ordered, so your shopping cart will appear to be empty. For Internet Explorer this should be in the Tools Menu, under Internet Options. For Netscape this should be in the edit menu under preferences.

Where are all the product pictures?

Most of the items on our site have a thumbnail image linking to a detail page which shows a larger picture of the item. However because of all the different colors we carry on certain items, some products might not have all the different color combinations pictured. Additionally, some items in our Closeout section might not have a picture at all, because they have a low stock or discontinued item. And a few brand new items might not currently have a picture, but will have one shortly.

Are all your items listed on this web site?

At Bike Parts Express, we stock thousands of items. This site is the most comprehensive list of our product you can find. We do our best to have all of our items listed on the web site. However, on a few items, our prices are so low that our manufacturers will not let us advertise them. Additionally, some items might have just been received or quantities are too low to place them on our web site. If you don’t see an item on here that you are interested in, contact us - we might just have the product you are looking for!

How will I know if there is a problem with my order?

If there is any problem with your order one of our sales representatives will always contact you by phone or by email, otherwise all orders should ship the same or next business day. So please make sure you provide us with you correct phone number and e-mail address, in case we need to contact you.

How can I tell if my Internet order has been received?

You will receive an email confirmation immediately upon placing your order. This email will detail your order, update you with stock information on the items you ordered, and supply you with an order confirmation number so that you may check the status of your order on this web site.

Do you have a retail store?

Yes, our retail store is located at 169 W Main St, Lehi, UT 84043, just off of I-15, South of Salt Lake City.

How do I receive a catalog?
Our website is an extensive list of our most current inventory. We do not produce a separate printed catalog.  


Item Search Tips
Need help searching for a product in the search box on top of every BikePartsExpress.com page?
If the wording or spelling you use to search for a product does not exactly match what is named in the product name, you probably won't find it. Try not narrowing your search so much, either just enter the vendor name, or product name, remove the year. In short, simpler search terms are better. One more possible reason you are not finding what you are searching for is if you are looking for an item that is no longer available on the site (it's sold out or not currently for sale). If that were the case your search would also come back with no results.

Pricing/Price Matching
Your prices are so low - are these the same products as the retail stores?
Yes, of course! We would not believe in doing business any other way. Our low prices are all due to our savvy buying and commitment to low prices. All of our products are brand new and unused. In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied by any product you purchased from Bike Parts Express, you can always return it for a refund/exchange. See our policy section for more details.
